Berolan air-entraining admixtures are characterised by high efficiency. They produce a very fine, stable air void system. A special characteristic of the Berolan products is dust-free filling of the storage vessels. Berolan promotes the wettability of the dry building material mixture with water and supplements the dispersing effect of cellulose. Additionally, the air-entrainment increases the yield of the mortar and reduces the risk of shrinkage cracking. It is a characteristic of Berolan to form very small and stable air voids, particularly in gypsum-based plastering mortars. An additional effect is a recognizable improvement of the open time.
